Dr. Seema Akbar
Dr Seema Akbar, MSc (Organic Chemistry) did PhD from CSIR, Industrial Toxicology research Centre (Presently Indian Institute of Toxicology Research ) Lucknow India. She has about 33 years of research experience. During the period she has guided large number of candidates for the award of MPhil and PhD degrees and published extensively in the journals of international repute. She has travelled far and wide on academic pursuits. Dr Seema has handled many mega extramural research projects funded by reputed government funding agencies. She is fellow of many national and international academic bodies and has many prestigious awards including Life Time Achievement award instituted by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India. Dr Seema Akbar is presently Head of the institution, Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India) Srinagar.
